STYH: The Comeback

Added 22 June 2014 by Peter
The Straight To Your Head podcast made a triumphant return this week, with the release of the comeback edition - making it the 51st show of new material by artists from all over the world.

Previously, each show consisted of ten tracks per edition, but we've relaxed the rules a little - meaning the next show might contain anything from one track to twenty tracks - who knows? The common thread running through the shows though, is that it puts international artists under a global spotlight with podcasts ready to be downloaded everywhere from the UK to Australia. We're also really pleased to re-affirm that the show is very well supported by our friends in the USA - particularly Los Angeles.

If you're new to the podcast, please stick with it - Our screening process is very high to make sure you're only hearing the best-quality songs that are flying under the radar.

This latest show doesn't just mark the 51st edition overall though. In addition to the comeback edition, we've put countless compilation shows out to the world, as well as special interview editions featuring the likes of Manic Street Preachers, Dodgy, Picturehouse, Toploader, Mick Ralphs and Albert Lee.

Each show is a lot of work - and the most important job lies with you guys. This can only be done with the regular support of the very musicians who want more of their music to get promoted. So, if you are a long-term subscriber, thank you for your commitment. If you have only heard one edition, please subscribe and tell others about the show. There are people who want to help - but the most important cog in the machine is YOU. Please try to make time to enjoy every podcast - We know that many of you have found your new favourite band through it.

I, and the whole STYH team look forward to playing more great songs - but the support has to be from you all, and for each other in every show.

The podcast is back. Let's get it heard by as many people as possible.

For now, over and out.
