Don McGlashan and The Mutton Birds
UPLOADED 04 February 2013
Thanks for downloading this revised and updated version of the podcast, which was first published on iTunes towards the end of 2012. This edition has been updated to tell a timeless story, to be enjoyed on any day, of any month, of any year. In Don McGlashan's own words then, this is the most complete story ever told in audio form of one of New Zealand's greatest musical talents: The Mutton Birds. "Anchor Me, it's a good one", one crazed pod-friend exclaimed upon hearing it (true story).
ANTON BARBEAU
Anton Barbeau: As Cool As Folk
UPLOADED 02 January 2013
After pondering how best to describe Anton Barbeau to you, we have decided to let his musical genuis do the talking (well, singing...). We here at STYH discovered Anton "by accident" when we saw him supporting Don McGlashan in London - And what a great accidental discovery it was. Do your ears a favour and give this 'cast a spin. Huge thanks to the man himself for chatting with us. "Ziggy Plaaayed....."If you enjoy this podcast, please leave a review in iTunes.
THE FEUD
The Feud: Collected Conversations
UPLOADED 10 November 2012

If you're on the look-out for a new band, look no further. The Feud, based in North West England are one of the best discoveries of 2013. Jamie, Stephen and Luke are releasing their debut album in the next few months, and speak here about their story so far, documenting their previous EP releases and speak about how they're compiling their first LP. They're keen not to give too much away ahead of the release, but this podcast will serve as a tasty tease of what's to come. Compiled from three interviews we've done with the band in 2012, it paints a tantalising picture of what we can expect in 2013 and beyond. Become a Feudie today.
